Hi, I’m Andrew.

I’m an Englishman that doesn’t like tea and a frequent cafe-goer who doesn’t drink coffee.

This always left me with a dilemma as to what I should have to drink whilst those around me were ordering lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos and so on.

Whilst there is always a range of soft drinks available, I usually opt for a hot chocolate.

However, the quality of hot chocolate on offer at many cafes is often very poor – it’s little more than coloured warm milk, with little to no flavour and is usually way too sweet.

Want something a little special?

Try adding whipped cream, marshmallows and sprinkles. The thing is, I’m not a child – I want more from my hot chocolates.

I’m really glad to say that things are improving and some independent cafes are stepping up their game. And on the British high street, chains like Hotel Chocolat and Knoops are producing some excellent drinks.
